Some inspiration for outfits on the Nasty Gal website. Love their styling and clothing options. Such a variety of cool looks --FG

American Apparel

(american apparel large carry all pouch)

I found this bag while out shopping with some friends and absolutely died for it. The bag is all leather with a suede interior and perfect to grab and go with everything. Definitely a great steal for only $58. Not to mention it comes in 3 sizes (S,M,L) and 3 colors (tan, black, and stone). Most likely getting myself one sometime soon! Sorry for the lack of posts lately, work is exhausting but I will have more photos coming soon! --FG

THE MET

Steps of the Met museum (one of the locations on Gossip Girl)
Greek Statue Hall

Ballerina
Three Sisters
Andy Warhol
One of the hallways of European paintings and statues
Ringo Stars gold drum

Yesterday I got to explore the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY. I took so many pictures but could only put a few up so you could have a feel of the museum. The Met is incredibly large with so many fascinating exhibits that is easy to get lost or not see all of it. I spent probably around 3 hours there and still did not get to see everything. If you ever need some inspiration, try going to the Met and explore the captivating displays of art.

Found these pictures, loving the style and feel of them. They inspired me to create this outfit as a combination of both looks rolled into one that I would totally wear. The look is part grunge, part rock n roll with a slight whimsical romantic touch. Come find me --FG

With Love

Untitled
This a set I created with perfect individual or styled together items for fall. All of these pieces complement the jacket while playing with different textures.  Adding a biker boot toughens up the soft colors or heeled booties for a night out. You could add black or gray tights under the leather shorts for warmth.

Another shot in the airport. I received quite a few compliments on my outfit and hat. It was so nice!

Spread in the new Nov. ELLE I was reading on the plane: it reminded me of my last post Boho Chic

Lights of NYC; arriving at the airport!

After a long day traveling, my friend and I were tired waiting on our car. She is a true glamazon too but on a much shorter scale.

Come find me out and about in New York! --FG

Spring Fashion '11

(photos from style.com)
Chanel has always been a major fashion power house. Every fashion week, Chanel is a top contender for setting trends. Not only was the runway set exquisite but the truly avante-garde pieces in the collection spoke a new life in Chanel's timely style. Lagerfeld started the show with ladylike looks and finished with strong rock n roll inspired garments. The show contained all my favorites I automatically am attracted to like leather, feathers, lace, and transparency. Unfinished looks brought a nostalgic genre of 80's back but shoved the truly unique looks into modern day fashion. Chanel will always be one of my all time favorite designers. Come find me --FG
